Does Game Copy Wizard Work

In this hub I will give a thorough and honest opinion on the Game Copy Wizard software.

Game copy wizard provides users with instruction and software that claims to allow users to legally back-up copies of:

• Dvds
• Xbox 360 Games
• Nintendo Wii Games
• Sony PS3 Games

• PC games

Does the software work?

Answer: Yes and no.

You will be able back up your media and your games, but in order for the backed up console games to be playable, you need to already have modded equipment. Modding your equipment as you probably know voids your warranty in most cases. I know this because myself and friends who have used the software they instruct you to couldn’t run the copies due to licensing issues. There are also a lot of similar reports online.

Is it legal?

It's legal, however manufacturers have no way of knowing if you are making copies for legal (back-up purposes) usage or illegal  (selling or distributing copies) usage.

You can get banned from the PlayStation 3 of Xbox 360 networks when you go online to play backed up copies of games on a modded system. So while it’s legal to make copies of games that you own and mod your own system, game makers still don’t like it. It’s not a guarantee that you’ll get banned if you play online, but there’s still a risk.

The consequences of an XBOX 360 ban mean:

• You can’t use Xbox live
• You can’t install new games on the HDD
• You can’t use Windows Media Centre extender

The consequences of a PS3 an mean :

Either a temporary or permanent ban from the PlayStation network:

• No downloads
• No chatting
• No online play

Once you are banned you’ll need to spend 2-3 hundred dollars on another console. Your banned console will be black marked. I don't know how they do it, but once you are permanently banned it will never work online again no matter how you change your settings. You shouldn’t use backups to play online!

You may still be able to play CDs, DVDs, and backed up PC Games only your equipment without experiencing issues. And you can still play offline games.

Why you shouldn’t get game copy wizard?

Some people say game copy wizard is a scam. Some say it’s a rip-off. Some say it works. Here’s the truth.

You don’t even have to search for “Game Copy Wizard Free Download.” Game Copy Wizard isn’t a software program you can download. Shocker! It’s just a set of instructions for using software that you can already get for free on the internet. However, this software doesn’t advertise itself as a means to backup video games and DVDs so it’s often overlooked.

Game Copy Wizard final review

My final review of Game Copy Wizard is sure it works. It’s a set of legit instructions. However it’s not worth buying in my personal opinion when you can get everything it gives you for free. There’s just no major advantage. If you need a little bit of extra help, just go on youtube and watch an imgburn tutorial. You don’t need to pay out money to get this kind of easy help.

As a last statement, I want to urge you fellow gamers to be careful what you read, because opinions out there are sometimes written just to get you to buy a product regardless of what it offers. However, I consider it important to always give an honest review.
